We spent a year filming the everyday experiences of women at a domestic abuse refuge outside London. Jasleen and I each followed certain contributors, filming observationally while at times concealing identities.

Babble to Bilingual is now available on BBC Education. I produced/directed these films for Gold Wala and BBC. This involved casting for families - in communities which speak one of the following languages: Urdu, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali and Polish. I then filmed and edited the series.
